Here is a fascinating account from an Old Hall Club member of our visit to Chipping Campden in May 2010.
The day started with a much needed post journey caffeine lift at the delightful Noel Arms Hotel. Then, after an informative talk by the museum curator, we had a look round Court Barn Museum that houses a display of Robert Welch’s work. Then it was back to the hotel for a splendid lunch, followed by a visit to Robert Welch’s shop and then to their design studio in the old Silk Mill. Robert’s son and daughter (Rupert and Alice) along with their staff made us feel like honoured guests.
