Walsall Museum is celebrating the centenary of stainless steel with an exhibition of Old Hall, from April 9th - June 1st, entitled "A Centenary of Stainless Steel: The Old Hall Connection".
Their "Events" leaflet summarises the exhibition as "2013 is the anniversary of the invention of stainless steel and we celebrate it by showcasing one of the most attractive products to utilise this material: the classic and award-winning table and teawares* manufactured by the Old Hall company of Bloxwich".
* Teawares is a term from the pottery industry (where Museum Curator Jennifer was previously employed) and means anything associated with the brewing and consumption of tea!
